OUGD603 - 7 - Website design - Yeezy

The brief was also taken futher with the creation of a Yeezy Season one aline platform. Work for this project website included branding editorial and web design. Branding was required as the designs will have to adhere to Adidas’s guidelines. Editorial skills was to be used for online promotion of the product. Web design skills was required to create a user interface for a website. As Yeezy product sell out instantly, it is hard for customers to view the products in person. Therefore this website will also help customers by adding high quality larger images so they can view the products in detail. A publication cover was also created to assist the website by also promoting the items. This website was created on Adobe Illustrator and is only a Interface proposal.

OUGD603 - 7 - Website design - Scene

It is obvious that which website is more stylish is down to ‘opinion’, however from the research from the ‘awwwards’, highlights that the new websites has the most elements of the award winning websites. This included very simple nav bars a full bleed sliders. To seperate this website from the existing website, a full bleed selection of products has been created will rollover images to create e ects on the website rather than it being plain. As this website is not a live brief, the next step would be to show this design to Scene and if they like the design, I could code it for them or they could could by the design. This website was created on Adobe Illustrator and is only a Interface proposal.

This website was created for Coterie, a online clothing shop for streetwear fashion. This website was made di erently to the others as it was created uping the web creator on shopify. However coding was still required.Coterie only needed their homepage coding as their other pages was made with a theme. This cause a design guidline as the nav bar and footer had to stay the same. The website also works in mobile and tablet. When this website was finised, the was happy with the outcome, however the release of the site might not be untill after the OUGD603 hand in.

OUGD603 - 7 - Website design - Ryan Daley

This website was created for Ryan Daley, a graphic design student at Leeds College of Art.Like Matthew, Ryan wanted his website to be in the style of Lee Goater, therefore the research was the same, however now I have to think of another was to create the site so they do not look the same. I took the same inspiration from Lee Goater’s website by using full bleed images as a click through slideshow website. It was very important to have Ryans details and links displayed as clear as possible. The website was made very similar to Matthews as this is what Ryan wanted, however Ryan’s logo, left aligned text and di erent images made his website look different. The only problem I had with Ryans website was the text was hard to read on white images, however Ryan wanted to use these images and wanted the text the same colour on all pages. I justmade sure the ‘Next image’ button was di erent and the website then went live.

This website was created for Matthew Brewer, a graphic design student at Leeds College of Art.Matthew wanted his website to be in the style of Lee Goater, therefore research was very simple, I just needed to find a way to create the same style website that does not copy Lee’s. I took inspiration from Lee Goater’s website by using full bleed images as a click through slideshow website It was very important to have Matthews details and links displayed as clear as possible. This website was fully coded by myself and was make using the program Sublime 2 and hosted by myself. A email was set up for Matthew and set up on his Mac so he could access it. The website also works in mobile and tablet. When this website was finised, Matthew asked for the black box behind his text to be darker and it was then live.

OUGD603 - 7 - Website design - Maxine Lee Harris

This website was created for Maxine Harris, a textiles student at Leeds College of Art.Creating a website for Maxine was very straight forward as she contanted me after seeing the website I created for Black Moniker (Brief 2). This website was fully coded by myself and was make using the program Sublime 2 and hosted by myself. The main purpose for this website is to show Maxine’s work to clients, therefore it was important that the site had full width images to create Maxine’s images as large as possible. The site was finished with a home page, about page and six collection pages. It was important to have the logo on every page and a clear nav bar. The about page also had to be re-designed so the website did not look like Black Monikers. The website also works in mobile and tablet. When this website was finised, the client loved it and only changed the main font to Arial, then the website went live.

OUGD603 - 7 - Website design - Research

Both Matt and Ryan both asked me to create them websites like Lee Goaters after his talk at Leeds College of Art. This was because they liked how his website was only a preview of his work and clients will have to contact you too see more. Lee’s website will be very simple as it is a full image slider with details over a circle. To recreate this, a new slider will be coded, however the details will be prsented in a new way so the website does not look like a copy. The reseach for Coterie was also simple as they want their site too look almost like the website of Machus. Therefore designing could start straight away.
