OUGD603 - 4 - Self Brief - FOURE SS16 - Statement of intent

Subject matter
To progress from the branding that was produced in the OUGD601 Module, the Summer/Spring 2016 Collection will be designed, produced and advertised for the company FOURE.


Practical development (media, productions, skills)
This will involve fashion design, photography, editorial, advertising and promotion. Fashion design is required for the ideas behind the product.  Photography will be used for product shots.  Editorial work will be used to create look-books and brochures.  Advertising and promotion will be necessary to create sales for the products. I will also improve on some work produced in the OUGD601 Module, as the branding has to reflect the luxury product more closely. Web design will be required when up-dating the site with new material, created in this brief.


Contextual references
The main body of research was carried out in the OUGD601 Module and the target market for my graphic design work will be a young audience who are attracted to streetwear clothing.


Approaches to documentation
Progress on the brief will be documented regularly through blogging and finalising with design boards.


Reflection and evaluation
When the clothing is released, social media will help to provide an understanding of the opinions of the target audience. I will also write my own evaluation when the project has been finalised


Timescale

The timescale for this brief will be determined by the progress of the manufacturing of the products. Therefore, this brief could run through the whole of the OUGD601 Module.
